Creating A System 🧮 To Exit Rat Races And Stop Being Toxic!

We have known the phrase of being in rat race since very long – but majority of the people dont try to get out of this circle willingly or unwillingly. In this writeup we shall discuss 2 major types of rat races that I am observing specially in Pakistani 🇵🇰 society, be it residents or expats:

  1. Rat race of monthly income
  2. Rat race of winning an argument

We shall be discussing both of them as these habits if controlled can bring immense value to the life and improve productivity 🕐 while removing toxicity.

RAT RACE OF MONTHLY INCOME

Most of the salaried people think about breaking the shackles and become financially independent one day, but don’t strive for it practically. A small percentage is happy in that rat race, which is also fine if you are not obsessed with the idea of being financially independent 💤.

The rate race of monthly salary will not make you rich and peaceful!

The vicious circle ⭕️ of doing a 9-5 job, making money from it, paying bills, splurging 💳 on lifestyle with no savings and investments & cherry on top, accumulating loans with increasing lifestyle requirements and then going back working hard to fund this cycle is killing the potential you already have.

One has to breakaway this cycle & target the link in the chain 🔗 which can bring the most impact. I would suggest the below to break the chain:

“The trouble with being in the rat race is that even if you win, you’re still a rat”

RAT RACE OF POINT SCORING

The money 💰 rat race and problem with day job circle is known to everyone – some people think of it as a problem but don’t have any action plan to get out of it and lacks capacity as well. But the rat race which will be discussed in this section can be very much controlled and one can easily come out of it with a little bit of will ✌️

It is a global phenomenon – but prevailing & thriving in Pakistan with each passing day. We have to understand that discussing day to day political issues will not lead you anywhere. People try their best to win these war of words but it really is not worth it. If you really believe in a cause, you need to go out and about and do something practically besides exercising your voting rights. Becoming a keyboard warrior and arguing to make your point 🎯 with your friends and families for political issues over social media wont take you anywhere.

This is where side hustle ✅ will come into the picture – Keeping yourself busy in constructive activities can improve your situation financially and mentally which will have much more positive impact on your life rather than being arguing on social media for your political bias.

The rat race to win the argument will not take you anywhere

Keeping a political bias is very much required and one should have opinion about what is going on in the country where they hold stakes – but impacting your relationships and wasting time for the sake of arguments is totally not acceptable. The time saved can be used in much better activities which can generate additional income as well as a give you time for a simple hobby like gardening which can sooth your body and mind instead of toxic debates.

The problem with our masses is that we waste a lot of time – this time should be put into work and fortunes can be earned instead of useless debates online. Having a political bias is natural and one should strive to vent out the shortcomings of state or government – but doing so on regular basis just for the argument’s sake between friends, family and on social media wont do any good for self improvement.

The message here is to stop wasting time and come out of both the rat races, try to be become financially and mentally independent to lead a better life with no strings attached!
